November 2014Which is the more sustainable structural material, steel or concrete?  Adam Slivers is active in the Structural Engineering Institute’s Sustainability Committee using life cycle assessment research to answer this question and others.  He wrote an article in Civil + Structural Engineer magazine called “The Choices That Matter” summarizing a few findings which includes a link to the committee’s complete work.
