April 2016
The 5th + Columbia Tower project is taking shape. Lund Opsahl is working with The Erection Company and JTM Construction providing construction support services for the steel erection, crane sequencing, manlifts and miscellaneous structural consulting on the 44 story tower in the heart of downtown Seattle. The contractor is anticipating a month in schedule savings by sequencing a temporary luffing and derrick crane at the roof level.
The Amazon Rufus 2.0 Biosphere project has topped-out! Lund Opsahl provided construction support to sequence and erect the project. Teaming with The Erection Company, Sellen Construction, and Safway Services we were able to develop and coordinate the loads to develop and detail a unique universal joint that accommodated the exclusive connections.

The 16,000 SF Optimism Brewery was featured in the Daily Journal of Commerce’s “Project of the Week.” Lund Opsahl worked to transform the dilapidated structure into art with the collaboration of Olson Kundig Architects and Metis Construction. Did we mention that their beverages are first-class, too?!
The race is on to finish the complex performing arts theater prior to opening day at the Vashon Center for the Arts. The elaborate projects has been an outstanding success with the collaboration of LMN Architects and Sellen Construction.
We are proud to see the progress of the Washington Place Project. Construction is underway on Level 6 of the 20 story building. Lund Opsahl is working closely with General Contractor Absher and Concrete Sub Conco to ensure a successful project through construction.
