Lund Opsahl is seeking a creative, engaging, and dynamic collaborator interested in helping us enhance and expand our marketing efforts as we grow. Working closely with the firm Principals, the Marketing Manager will facilitate a comprehensive marketing and business development strategy aimed at fostering engagement with current and prospective clients in the A/E/C industry. Detail-oriented and possessing a robust visual and written communication skillset, the Marketing Manager will serve an essential role in orienting company growth towards the future.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support and enable project pursuits
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking and selecting business development opportunities with a dashboard format for ease of use by principals
- Conceive, create, organize, and maintain high-quality marketing materials
- Manage website content and direct the use of digital communications to promote Lund Opsahl
- Develop annual marketing and business development plans in collaboration with principals, including facilitation of an annual retreat to set objectives, goals, and tactics.
- Produce and present monthly reports to Principals incorporating key marketing metrics
- Actively participate in business development efforts including relationship building activities with Marketing/Business Development staff of our Clients
- Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers, etc.) that are needed to support other activities such as project and staff photos.
- Plan and direct the work of administrative or marketing assistants working on marketing efforts
- Various other efforts with permission from and under direction by Principals
Competencies
- Knowledgeable of the proposal response process for the A/E/C industry
- Effective written and verbal communication, including strategic messaging and technical writing
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong graphic design principles, including graphic layout, color, aesthetics, standards, and production techniques
- Ability to create, work, and deliver within a defined and often short schedule in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Ability to work efficiently and independently under pressure as required
- Management of CRM systems—experience with SalesAchiever a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or similar field. Similar working level obtained through relevant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. CPSM Certification or pursuit of certification is preferred, but not required
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional marketing role in the A/E/C industry
