Ronald McDonald House Expansion

Since their founding in 1983, The Ronald McDonald House has served families with children receiving treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Originally 20 rooms, they expanded in 2003 to 80 rooms, including self-contained units for patients receiving bone marrow transplants. Now, they are expanding further, to expand by 28 rooms in one of their buildings. Lund Opsahl is providing structural engineering on the added 19,000 square feet over three floors to the existing wood-framed structure, to support their mission of providing housing to the families of sick kids.
