Cascadia Art Installation

Located in concourse C of the Seattle Tacoma International Airport, this installation by Seattle artist Cable Griffith finds inspiration in the colors and forms of the Pacific Northwest, this piece specifically reflecting the green and blue ecology of the region. Lund Opsahl provided the steel supports to keep the 22 panels of airbrushed enamel on glass standing and catching light as passengers from all over the world pass through gates C15 and 16. Cascadia is part of the Port of Seattle’s intention to highlight local businesses and artists at the region’s central transportation hub, putting the PNW’s best foot forward to passers through, visitors, and returning locals alike.
