King County Parks Department Central Maintenance Facility

The King County Parks Department Central Maintenance Facility will provide administrative offices, shop space, and storage buildings which aid in their mission to preserve and expand public land use. Located in Renton, the site includes five structures totaling 50,250 square feet to support specific programs including grounds, trail, and turf management, with support spaces for metal, paint, plumbing, electrical and irrigation shops. Lund Opsahl worked closely with the design partners and Parks stakeholders to provide cost effective, constructible solutions while achieving sustainability goals in a quickly escalating bidding environment.
