Kirkland Residence

Located on the eastern shore of Lake Washington, this single family home has deep overhangs inspired by mid-century American architecture. The wood framed house features steel beams that function both as part of the structural system and the interior design, creating lines of visual interest throughout the building. With attention to details like the accordion doors to outside terraces and intersections of horizontal and vertical lines for an impression that is both unique and wholly appropriate for its locality.
