Seattle Repertory Theater Upgrades
This renovation re-envisions Seattle Repertory Theatre’s public spaces to better support and express its mission. A new central stair transforms the once-cramped main lobby, allowing for more fluid movement and a more engaging procession to the upper levels. A new scrim and graphic screen establish a visual focal point at the heart of the lobby, while a generously scaled ramp enhances accessibility to the Leo K. Theatre.
Concessions will be reconfigured to expand gathering space and improve flexibility for public events within the Rotunda. The revitalization also includes fully renewed finishes, improved acoustics, and enhancements to the arrival and box office areas. Sliding exterior walls will strengthen the connection to terraces and gardens, allowing for expanded programming during fair weather. Inside the Bagley Wright Theatre, upgrades will improve accessibility and renew seating and finishes to create a more intimate, inclusive audience experience.
