Swedish Medical Center, First Hill Campus Hybrid OR

Lund Opsahl provided structural engineering services for renovating an existing OR to a new hybrid operating room. Project was built within the active main surgery unit while maintaining infection controls and minimizing noise disruptions. Structural scope included floor loads evaluation and ceiling support grid for hung C-arm, lights and diffusers. Renovation included interstitial catwalk framing mechanical penetrations, modifications to partitions for x-ray protection, and construction access for equipment installation.
