TriMet Powell Garage Electrification and BEB Installation

Lund Opsahl supported the design for the first battery electric bus (BEB) charging infrastructure at TriMet’s Powell Base. Scope included the design support for the electrical power infrastructure, charging pantographs, and charge management systems, as well as the design of foundations and anchorage for on-grade equipment and gantry structure for the overhead chargers. Work included coordination of foundations with underground utilities.
