Fremont 65

Located at the crossroads of Seattle’s vibrant Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods, this 55,349 SF mixed-use building brings together housing, retail, and green space in a six-story wood-framed structure. This dynamic project includes two levels of post-tensioned concrete topped with four levels of wood framing. The building features 65 apartment units, 4,766 SF of retail/commercial space, 23 structured parking stalls, and 68 resident bike stalls. Amenities include a second-level outdoor deck, a sixth-floor roof terrace with generous open space, and an artistic steel-and-glass canopy.

Now in the construction phase, we’re actively supporting the team through site challenges as the project is situated in a tight urban space. Our scope included shoring wall design along the north and east edges of the property to support excavation, as well as the foundation for the tower crane, and adapting to underslab plumbing routing through footings.
