Our team had the opportunity to witness firsthand the impactful work of The Block Project, a non-profit that provides housing for individuals experiencing homelessness, during a recent open house for their 16th BLOCK Home. Their program constructs homes in homeowners’ backyards throughout Seattle. We joined in the celebration, honoring the incredible hosts, future resident, and the numerous volunteers and donors who made this beautiful home a reality.
During the event, the team at BLOCK guided us through their community-powered process, highlighting their partnerships with businesses and individuals who generously donate their services, materials, and time to bring these homes to life. Thank you to The Block Project for sharing their mission and remarkable work they’re doing to foster connections within communities.
