Work is underway at the Olympic College Shops building in Bremerton! Our team members, Julie Kerlin, Scott Schroeder, and Chris Cattron were on site this summer to review the ongoing construction.

The contractor was wrapping up the steel and mezzanine framing. Our engineers were able to see the large steel bent frames in place. These steel frames will be exposed in the main corridor and team room area (pictured). The whole team had a fun time taking the ferry over to Bremerton and got to see some seals along the way!

The Olympic College Shops remodel is designed to bring labs and institutional spaces up to code and increase accessibility. This renovation with Schreiber Starling Whitehead Architects will provide synergy between complementary workforce development programs and an environment that promotes learning and innovation in students and instructors alike. We’re excited to see this project come together!
